Residentials

Residential visits are a valued and exciting part of life at our school, providing children with unforgettable opportunities to learn, grow and develop beyond the classroom. We believe that these experiences play a vital role in building confidence, resilience, independence and teamwork, while creating memories that last a lifetime. Through a carefully planned programme of residential visits, children are encouraged to challenge themselves, embrace new experiences and strengthen friendships in a supportive and exciting environment.

Throughout Key Stage 2, pupils have the opportunity to take part in four residential visits:

Lower Key Stage 2

  • Year 3 – Winmarleigh Hall
An exciting introduction to residential experiences, where children enjoy outdoor adventure activities, problem-solving challenges and opportunities to develop confidence and teamwork.

  • Year 4 – Edinburgh
A memorable city-based residential that brings history, culture and learning to life through visits to some of Scotland's most iconic landmarks and attractions.

Upper Key Stage 2

  • Year 5 – Isle of Man
An enriching residential offering opportunities to explore the island's unique landscape while developing independence and personal responsibility through some exciting outdoor challenges in the natural environment.

  • Year 6 – London
A fantastic culmination of the primary school journey, allowing pupils to experience the sights, sounds and history of the nation's capital while creating lifelong memories with their classmates.

Our residential programme reflects our commitment to providing a rich and varied curriculum, ensuring that every child has the chance to broaden their horizons, discover new strengths and experience learning in truly inspiring settings.
