London Residential
The London Trip
In Year 5/6, the children at our school get the opportunity to visit our capital, London, to explore the sites and famous landmarks. This trip takes place annually at the end of June.
If you are interested in signing up for the London Trip, or would like more information about the next trip, please speak to the school office or Mrs Martin.
Our Annual Residential Trip to London
2022
After a couple of years without it, we got the chance to take a group of 45 Y5 and 6 children to London again. This time, we explored the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum on Day One. On the Thursday, we visited the Tower of London (a teacher favourite) before taking a ride on the London Eye. The day was finished of with a walking tour of the famous sites before tea and Matilda the Musical. Finally, the GPPS London Trip wouldn't be the same without a trip to WB Studio Tours.

Our Annual Residential Trip to London
2019
This year, we took 36 of our Year 5 and 6 children to our nation’s capital city. We had an amazing time visiting the Tower of London, Holland Park, Westminster Abbey, a walking tour including Downing Street, the Cenotaph, Buckingham Palace and Horsegaurd’s Parade. We went to the theatre to watch ‘School of Rock’ and spent our final day with Harry Potter. Thank you so much to Miss Seddon, Mr Fern and Mrs Cronin for giving up their time to make the trip such a success.
