Developing the children's fine and gross motor skills builds into a fluent and legible handwriting that supports more advanced writing skills.

In school, we like to work towards badges and handwriting is no different. From Reception, children have the opportunity to work towards two handwriting badges, building towards a cursive style. Please see the sheets below for the rhymes we use to help the children learn and practise the correct formation.
