Miss Broadhurst is absolutely delighted to be teaching Class 9 again this year! With 10 years of teaching experience, she still feels just as excited walking into the classroom as she did on her very first day. This year is extra special as she is thrilled to be leading Maths across the school, a subject she is incredibly passionate about. She loves inspiring children to be curious, ask big questions, solve problems and develop a love of learning.
 

Her lessons are always full of energy, enthusiasm and plenty of laughter! She loves creating a classroom where everyone feels confident to have a go, mistakes are celebrated as part of learning and teamwork is at the heart of everything. Hands-on, practical learning is one of her favourite approaches, and she enjoys finding fun and creative ways to bring lessons to life.
 

Outside of school, Miss Broadhurst is very sporty and has a particular love for netball and running. She plays netball during the week and enjoys getting out for a run whenever she can. Staying active is a big part of her life – although her favourite way to unwind is probably a long walk with her pride and joy, Bobby the dog! Bobby has a huge personality and is very much part of the family. Miss Broadhurst loves spending time with him and enjoying his endless cuddles.
 

There is also plenty of excitement ahead outside of school, as Miss Broadhurst is getting married this year! She is incredibly excited for this very special chapter and cannot wait to celebrate with her family and friends.
 

More than anything, Miss Broadhurst is looking forward to another fantastic year with Class 9. She feels incredibly lucky to be part of such a welcoming school community and cannot wait to see all the learning, growth, laughter and fun that the year will bring!
