Miss Broadhurst is absolutely thrilled to be teaching Class 9 this year. Her passion for teaching shines through in her enthusiastic approach to lessons, especially when they are hands-on and practical. She loves nothing more than learning alongside her students, creating a space where laughter and joy are an essential part of the classroom. For Miss Broadhurst, mistakes are not something to be feared but embraced. She believes they are part of the learning journey, and her focus is on helping the class support one another as they grow together.

Miss Broadhurst is new to Morecambe and Heysham as she’s originally from Leigh, Wigan. However, if you know any great local spots or hidden gems, she’s all ears and would love your recommendations as she gets to know the area better! Before settling here, she lived abroad in both Dubai and Kuwait, where her adventurous spirit led her to explore different cultures and visit many countries. She even pushed her boundaries by parachuting from an airplane!

Outside the classroom, Miss Broadhurst is very sporty. She’s a huge fan of Netball and recently discovered a love for running. Don’t be surprised if you see her zipping around the classroom getting in a few extra steps as she moves from group to group! Her love for being active is reflected in her teaching style, which often incorporates movement and physical engagement, bringing energy and excitement to her lessons.

Miss Broadhurst is also a huge animal lover with four dogs, her beloved "fur-babies." She enjoys spending time with them, going on walks, and soaking up all the cuddles they offer.
 

More than anything, Miss Broadhurst is excited to be part of a school with such a rich sense of community. The class has already made a great first impression, and she is looking forward to a positive and rewarding year ahead with Class 9, filled with learning, growth, and lots of fun!
