We encourage children to read nightly, or as often as possible, with an adult. Reading together strengthens comprehension, builds vocabulary, and fosters a love of learning, all of which support academic success and confidence.

We encourage children to practice key number facts, such as number bonds and times tables, to help them earn their Maths badges. Mastering these fundamentals strengthens their mathematical fluency, boosts problem-solving skills, and builds a strong foundation for more advanced concepts.

We encourage children to practice their spelling and phonic knowledge regularly, which will help them earn their Spelling badges. Mastering spelling improves writing skills, enhances reading comprehension, and boosts overall literacy.
