Aswell as two phonetically suitable reading books, children will choose a 'free choice' book that can be read for pleasure at home. 

Please find just 10 MINUTES to read with your child daily and sign their reading record. Reading daily makes an enormous difference to their reading fluency and confidence. Practise, practise, practise!

You may find a label with the sounds your child can recognise confidently and sounds they are not yet secure with. Please practise these at home regularly! 

Please ensure your child's books and reading record are in the bookbags EVERY DAY.
