The Engagement Model is a way of understanding how children learn by looking at how they engage with activities and the world around them. It focuses on key areas such as attention, curiosity, persistence, and how a child interacts and responds. Rather than measuring what a child can achieve, it helps us recognise how they are learning and developing over time, allowing us to plan meaningful experiences that support their individual needs.
