All about Miss Walton
I am delighted to be starting my fourth year at Grosvenor Park and my third year teaching in Class 8. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught across the primary school age phase, including Year 2, Year 4, Year 5 and MP3, and I am thrilled to be remaining in MP2 alongside Miss Dempsey, Miss Douglas and Mr Wilson.
I strongly believe that, by working together as a team, we can provide the very best opportunities for our children and make a real difference to their learning and development.
Many families will already know that I am a huge fan of school trips and outdoor learning opportunities. I love finding ways to get the children in MP2 out into the local community as often as possible, helping them learn through a variety of exciting experiences beyond the classroom.
I am especially looking forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces this year. It will be wonderful to see some of the children I already know in Year 4, while also getting to know all the children and families joining Class 8 in Year 3.
Outside of school, I am a passionate Leeds United supporter and enjoy attending as many matches as possible at Elland Road with my son, Jack. When I'm not cheering on Leeds, you'll often find me exploring Lancaster and Morecambe with my family, making the most of the beautiful local scenery with my dachshund, Paddy.
