Mobile Phones in School

We understand that for some children, bringing a mobile phone to school is necessary, particularly for safety when travelling independently. However, to maintain a focused and secure learning environment, we have clear expectations in place:

• All mobile phones must be handed in at the school office before entering the playground each morning.
• Phones must be switched off during the school day and not connected to smartwatches or other devices.
• Phones can be collected from the office at the end of the day.

Important Notice

If a child is found with a mobile phone during the school day:

• The phone will be confiscated.
• It will only be returned when collected by a parent or guardian.

This policy helps us protect the integrity of the learning experience and ensures that all pupils remain safe and focused throughout the day.
