All about... Mrs Martin
Mrs. Martin is really excited about the year ahead with Class 10! She always brings a big smile and positive attitude into the classroom. Super organised and always up for a giggle, she works hard to make sure her students feel welcomed, supported and ready to learn. She loves seeing people try their best, reach their goals and is a fan of beautiful handwriting!!
This year is an extra special one for Mrs. Martin as it’s her 10th year at Grosvenor—a big milestone! She's especially excited to be teaching English, one of her favourite subjects, and can’t wait to dive into some great books and writing with the class.
Outside of lessons, Mrs. Martin is always keen to get involved in school life—whether it’s helping with clubs, coaching sports, or cheering on teams from the sidelines. She’s all about students getting stuck into activities and making the most of their time at school. She believes clubs and sports are a brilliant way to build confidence, friendships and lifelong skills.
One thing Mrs. Martin really loves is Formula One—she and Mrs. Hanratty are huge fans (and big supporters of Lando Norris!). Don’t be surprised if you hear them chatting about the latest race or debating team strategies in the corridor on a Monday morning!
When she’s not at school, Mrs. Martin is kept on her toes by her energetic little girl, Charlotte. Being a mum has taught her loads about patience, fun and how to see the world through a child’s eyes—something that comes through in her teaching too. She always has a funny Charlotte story to share!
Mrs. Martin is also really looking forward to working alongside Mrs. Wiggins this year and is already counting down to all the school trips and special memories Class 10 will make together. She can’t wait to get to know everyone and have a fantastic year full of laughter, learning, and fun adventures.
