SCHOOL RECORD HOLDERS
🏃♂️🏃♀️ School Sprint Records – A Legacy of Speed!
Our 60m sprint records have seen some electrifying moments over the years! It all began in 2013 when Sophie Rowland and Luke Dickinson set the pace. Just a year later, in 2014, those records were shattered by Amy Smylie and Harrison Ramwell, igniting a fierce tradition of speed and competition.
Amy’s record was overtaken in 2016 by the dynamic duo of Olivia Benson and Olivia Norris, whose times stood strong until 2022, when Evangeline Moore blazed through with a stunning 7.91 seconds!
On the boys' side, Harrison’s 2014 record was broken in 2018 by Corey MT, and then again in 2019 by Harrison Holmes, who set a new benchmark. But in 2022, Riley Burrough stormed past with an incredible 7.93 seconds, setting the stage for future sprinters.
And now, in 2025, history has been made once again! Both the boys' and girls' sprint records have finally been broken:
🥇 Isaac Cooper – 7.06 seconds
🥇 Zara Huddleston – 7.63 seconds
These phenomenal athletes have etched their names into school history, setting a new gold standard for speed. Who will rise to the challenge next?
