Meet Mrs. Price – Our Pastoral Lead

Mrs. Price is our school’s Pastoral Lead and ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant). She provides a wide range of support for children and families, helping everyone feel understood, valued, and cared for.

Listening, Understanding & Supporting

Mrs. Price is always ready to listen and takes time to see things from every perspective. She understands emotions and behaviours, and she helps children learn positive ways to manage and regulate them.

Celebrating Positive Role Models

Passionate about recognising kindness and good choices, Mrs. Price looks out for pupils who set a positive example. Each Friday in assembly, she presents her ‘Role Model’ Award, alongside the VIPs. This award is linked to our Fundamental British Values, and celebrates pupils who lead by example, show kindness to others and children who choose to do the right thing.

The Support She Offers

Her work is wide-ranging and can include but is not limited to guidance with:

  • Friendships and relationships
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Growth mindset and self-esteem
  • Family needs and practical support
  • Emotional wellbeing

This may take place through one-to-one sessions or small group work.

Building Friendship & Kindness

At Grosvenor Park, being friendly, kind, and thoughtful is at the heart of school life. To encourage this, Mrs. Price runs ‘Friendship Framework’ groups across Key Stage 2, helping pupils build positive behaviours and supportive friendships.
