Our School Leaders
Our school operates a leadership structure of a Headteacher who is supported by four able Senior Leaders. Additionally, many of our teachers undertake a 'Subject' Leader role (details below).
Jordan Fern
Headteacher
Mr Fern is our Headteacher.
Hello and welcome to our beautiful school. My name is Mr Fern and I have been part of the Grosvenor park family for nine years. I must admit that time has flown by; I think this is because of the amazing children that walk through our doors every single day – they never fail to put a smile upon my face! You will often find me working on every aspect of school life to truly ‘MAKE a DIFFERENCE’ to every member of our school family.
Some highlights for me are: our London and Winmarleigh residential trips, such fantastic experiences where children really develop their independence and thrive off the learning opportunities presented; the wealth of clubs and sporting competitions on offer to all of our children, ranging from football to pottery; the rich Curriculum equipping our children to become lifelong learners and lastly, the unity and togetherness our school shows in every situation.
Emma Price
Deputy Headteacher
Mrs Price is our Deputy Headteacher.
Hello I have worked at our school for 15 years. It has been a great journey and the time has whizzed by. During this time, I feel lucky to have had many roles within school and worked across all our key stages. We have a wonderful school family where everyone strives to make a difference to themselves, others and the world around them. It's so important to us all that everyone in our school family feels safe and loved.
I am passionate about the benefits of play for all children (and adults) and try to encourages this at every opportunity! We believe that learning across the curriculum can be enhanced and understood on a deeper level when children are fully invested in that learning and play is often a great vehicle for this, plus it fills our days with smiles and fun!
I love to be outside both at school and at home. Whether that be playing in the mud kitchen in school or kayaking and walking with my family and dog at the weekends.
John Wilson
Assistant Headteacher (SENDCo)
Mr Wilson is our school's SENDCo
Since qualifying over a quarter of a century ago, he has only taken a one year break from our school family to help out with a small rural school. He is drawn to the Grosvenor Park family because they are a supportive, caring group who work together to make a difference in each others' lives.
He likes nothing better than to encourage the people that he works with to be resilient learners and to challenge themselves to achieve their best.
All of the work that school has undertaken to achieve three Green Flag awards has inspired Mr Wilson to reduce his carbon footprint by running or cycling to school most days.
At home, Mr Wilson loves spending time with his family, just being together and creating happy memories.
Laura Martin

Mrs Martin has been part of the school community for over ten years and plays a key role in both teaching and leadership. Her role involves working closely with staff to monitor standards and create opportunities so that enable every pupil is able to achieve.
In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Mrs Martin organises our wide range of extra-curricular clubs, broadening the experiences available to pupils and enriching their time at school. Away from school, Mrs Martin enjoys following Formula One and values time spent with her family. Her young daughter keeps her busy, and she loves making special memories with her.
