CLASS NOVELS
This Summer term, we will centre our learning around the following novels:
The children are already enjoying Meerkat Mail in English! We have discussed the items that we found in the Meerkat's suitcase and making predictions about where Sunny the Meerkat is travelling. The children have also debated and argued reasons as to why Sunny the Meerkat should stay and why he should travel the world. This term we are going to be writing a non-chronological report about Meerkats and writing a postcard from Sunny back home to his family.
We will also be looking at the poem 'On the Ning Nang Nong' by Spike Millingan.
Handwriting
Handwriting is really important for making us proud of our work and helping to remember spelling. Here is the handwriting policy in case you would like to do any practise at home.
