Appeals Against Admission Decisions
If your child has been refused a place at one of your preferred schools, you have the right to appeal the decision of the admissions authority.
Your appeal will be considered by an independent panel at an appeal hearing. You will have the opportunity to attend the hearing and present your case.
Appeals apply to both:
- Routine applications for September entry
- In-year admissions
Your appeal should be submitted within 20 school days of receiving the refusal of admission.
