All about... Miss Broadhurst
Miss Broadhurst is absolutely delighted to be teaching Class 9 again this year. With 10 years of teaching experience, she still feels just as excited walking into the classroom as she did on her very first day. She is especially thrilled to be leading Science across the school, a subject she is incredibly passionate about. Nothing makes her happier than seeing children develop their curiosity, ask big questions, and explore the world through investigation and discovery.
Her lessons are often full of energy, movement, and laughter. She loves creating a classroom where everyone learns together, mistakes are embraced, and teamwork is at the heart of everything. Hands-on, practical learning is one of her favourite approaches, and she enjoys finding creative ways to bring lessons to life.
Outside of school, Miss Broadhurst is very sporty. She plays netball during the week and also enjoys going to the gym and running to keep active. At home, she is kept busy by her much-loved dog, Bobby. Bobby has a big personality, and Miss Broadhurst enjoys spending time with him on long walks and soaking up his endless cuddles.
More than anything, Miss Broadhurst is looking forward to another fantastic year with Class 9. She feels lucky to be part of such a welcoming school community and cannot wait to see all the learning, growth, and fun that the year will bring!
